Very Large Conchilogical Museum Lithographs Sea Shell Scientific Art .
These are four very large high quality lithographs from the famous study done by Jean Charles Chenu at the Conchilogical Museum of Lyon, owned by Baron Benjamin Delessert.
“Illustrations Conchyliologiques” was the title when these were first exhibited in Paris in 1843-1845. These are top quality reproductions of those panels and are ready to be framed and enjoyed. The sheets are around 14” X 20”, so they are quite impressive.
