  • Condition: Condition is very fine for its age. Only minimal light signs of use and one very small ding in the flat bottom area which you may not be able to see in the pics as it is so minimal. No Dents or other dings no bends or damage. It does have a Monogram that I cannot read poss MGB. Really good heavy solid piece! High Quality!

    Description

    This is an Estate Fresh Antique 950 Sterling Silver Center Bowl from a long time collector of High End Sterling Hollowware.  I have purchased part of a huge collection and will be offering it here over the next several weeks.  This pieces are from all over place including Paris England Germany and here in the US.
    This particular piece is a Rare and Fantastic 1860's Heavy Hexagonal Center Bowl with curve panel sides and a Beautiful Acanthus type of rounded corners, with a
    shaped and undulating outer rim and body

    Marked with the Hallmark of BOIN TABURET
    it was actually made and hallmarked by the master Silversmith Craftsmans Henin Freres of Paris.  It was probably made between 1890 - 1920.   It is in excellent condition as described above.  This piece is a beast at 9.75" in diam at the widest point and 2.5" tall.  It weighs a Pound & a Half, 1.5lbs - or 24 oz or at 28.35g per oz that = 680.4g !   Its Heavy and just beautiful !!    This is
