RARE ELEGANT PAIR OF FRENCH 950 STERLING SILVER SWORD SHAPED MEAT SKEWERS 1900
Antique, finely crafted, rare pair of French solid 950 sterling silver meat skewers - Circa 1890-1910
Very cool, well made skewers, each shaped as a finely detailed sword with a twisted handle, domed butt cap and an ornate hand guard - The 'blade' is long, elegant and pointy
Each bears the maker's mark inside a diamond-shaped cartouch, it is 'PQ' or 'PO', and a silver guarantee Minerva-head hallmark indicating 1st standard silver 950/1000 purity - one skewer also bears the Paris insect charge mark
Condition is excellent for the pair - no losses or repairs - no dings or dents - please view all detailed pictures
