    Description

    Up for bid is an antique French 950 silver sugar sifter spoon in a threaded pattern, as is.  The piece is 8 inches long and weighs 58 grams.  The fluted bowl is 2 3/8 inches wide, with crescent shaped piercings.  The downturned handle has threaded edges and a round tip end.  It has not been monogrammed.  It bears a maker’s mark of [LT / A] in a diamond lozenge, with French 1

    Condition on the piece is fairly good.  There is a short crack on the right side of the rim edge leading to one of the piercings as shown, but it is tight and not easy to notice.  Otherwise there is just normal surface wear from use.  A decent old French silver serving piece!
