    Description

    This listing is for a Vintage Retro Mid Century Modern Italian Art Pottery 7" T x 8.75" L Ceramic Figural Bird Covered Dish / Bowl.  It was designed by Aldo Londi For Bitossi / Raymor.  It is Signed / Numbered on bottom with what looks to be "95 / 249 B Italy" (photo 5).  The bird lid is dark matte brown with white eyes and beak.  The bowl is glossy white and oval shaped with brown vertical lines or stripes.
    It is in great condition overall.  There is a small flake to outer lid edge and a flake to front of beak (photos 11 and 12).  Both of which have been touched up so they are very noticeable.  No other issues that I can find.  No cracks.  The bowl itself is perfect.  Very clean in and out!  Please view the photos carefully as they are my main description.
    It is big and fragile weighing over 2 lbs before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed.
    It measures 7 1/16" (17.9 cm) tall to top of head, 8 3/4" (22.2 cm) long beak to tail, and 4 1/2" (11.5 cm) wide.  It is about 3" (7.5 cm) tall to bowl rim, 7 9/16" x 4 1/2" (19.2 x 11.5 cm) across rim of bowl, and about 4" x 2 5/8" (10 x 6.7 cm) at the base.
