Serving/Dishwasher Information:
This item is food and dishwasher safe, however we recommend that if you place it in the dishwasher, you use the low heat setting to prevent small cracks from forming in the glaze. History:
"Uva Fresca" is one of the more contemporary patterns from G&P Deruta. This pattern mixes beautifully with any "Bianco Fresco" pieces that you may have in your collection. The pattern is comprised of oranges, apples, pears and plums with grapes as the central theme on a background of blue.
G&P Deruta was founded by Graziano Pimpinelli and his family with the collaboration of the most qualified artisans in Deruta, the Umbrian town famous for producing high quality ceramics. Among the most recognized firms in Deruta, G&P is known for the quality and refinement of all its products.
Graziano Pimpinelli, a master ceramist for more than forty years, personally oversees all aspects of production, from the creation of the forms to the final decoration of each piece, all carried out entirely by hand, following the finest traditions of Deruta.
Because all of our pottery is handmade, color and patterns can vary from piece to piece. This reveals the essence of the handmade process and illustrates the unique character of the piece.
