Description
French Silver Wine Taster with Minerva Hallmark and Maker's Hallmark. Shipped with FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery. The tester has Minerva Hallmarks on top of thumb handle and on bottom of concave bowl and under high magnification show deep distinct details on the Roman's headdress. The maker's Hallmark appears on the top thumb handle and on the concave bottom bowl surface with an M and a P separated by an arrow. This hallmark , MP an arrow/ un Fleche is from Dijon, France active 1903-1944 and signifies Marc Parrod. The ring holder has a partial hallmark with an M and also an intricate Hallmark of a picture with what appears to be a standing man and possibly a wheel but it is hard to decipher but it has intricate detail and must be seen only under high magnification. It weighs approximately .905 ounces or 25.6 grams. The diameter of the bowl is approximately 2 inches or 52 millimeters. The bowl has decorated grape bunches in a distinct raised relief. The center of the bowl is convex to allow the wine to slip to the outer edges to better reflect the wine's color and density when used. This is a relatively small, delicate sterling silver wine taster which shows off its beautiful workmanship and detail.
