    Description

    This auction is for a top quality and very rare World War II British Fairbairn Sykes 2nd pattern fighting knife dagger with the original leather sheath, etched on the blade: THE FS FIGHTING KNIFE - WILKINSON SWORD CO. - LONDON - This famous fighting knife has a brass knurled handle grip, tight oval blade guard, tight steel button pommel, and a very sharp double edge dagger encapsulated full tang carbon steel blade. This knife has some minor faint scratches and overall is till in very good+ to near excellent condition. The brass tipped leather sheath is missing the upper part and otherwise is still in very good condition. Please zoom in on all pictures for details. The knife measures 11 3/4" with a 6 3/4" blade and in the sheath the weight is 9.5 oz.
