Commemorative “Victory in the Pacific” Fairbairn-Sykes WW2 Commando Dagger Fighting Knife set of 6, in Excellent to Minty Condition. This limited edition set was made in Sheffield England by the renowned H.G. Long Co.during the 1970’s, and was issued by the American Historical Foundation, Richmond, Virginia. This is set #2192, marked on the blades. I believe a total of 2500 sets were issued. Each of these daggers are approx. 12” long, with different handles, and individual engraving on each blade. These 6 daggers individually commemorate the following:
Battles of the Philippines
Invasion of Iwo Jima
Battle for Okinawa
Invasion of the Solomons
Victory in the Pacific
Battles of Coral Sea
These daggers are in Excellent to Minty Condition, with minor age related wear, marks, and minor corrosion.
