Antique Gustave Keller Paris Sterling Silver Art Deco Cologne Bottle Decanter Part of a Gentleman's Travel/Grooming kit
This is a fine quality, thick gauge, French Art Deco 1
st
standard 950 silver rectangular hinged decanter made by Gustave Keller of Paris circa 1919-1920.
Features an engine turned geometric pattern.
Top is monogrammed “S.M.F”.
The underside is marked
G. Keller Paris
and has the French 1st standard 950 purity silver Minerva head mark.
Measures approx. 5” high x 2 1/4” wide x 1 1/2” deep. Weighs 138.5 grams.  It is in fair well used antique condition. It has various size dents on all sides with patina but fully functional. There are no cracks or repairs.  Will polish up nicely.

The famous silversmith Gustave Keller established his firm in 1856 and it stood out for its fine quality and simple yet elegant design.  He won several awards in his lifetime. At the Paris World Exhibitions of 1867 and 1878, he was presented with silver and gold medals. At the Paris World Fairs of 1889 and 1900, he won the gold medal and Grand Prix and was commissioned to produce important trophies for Monaco’s principality.
Keller attracted brilliant and international customers and was appointed official supplier of several courts (Spain, Russia, Greece and Romania)
and the elite of the society.

I accept PayPal as my preferred payment method. Payment must be made in full and have been cleared before the item is shipped.
SHIPPING:
Items will be shipped via USPS priority mail or USPS First Class package within 1 business day after receipt of payment (2 days at the most in extenuating circumstances). Packages over 0 are insured and charged accordingly because things can and do get lost or damaged during shipping.
Please note that if your item arrives damaged due to mishandling by the postal workers, the shipping
insurance (if included/purchased) will reimburse you for your
purchase

A
n insurance claim should be filed and a refund given (per carriers insurance policy).
Be
sure to
save the
carton
and
all the packing materials
. This is
required
in order to file a claim with the USPS.
If for any reason an item is lost by the post office, they require a waiting period before they will track the item and this is out of my control. If not located, a claim will be filed for the refund of the item. Please understand that these processes take time and I will do my best to provide everything needed from my end in a timely manner.
SHIPPING DISCOUNTS:
Shipping discounts are available when purchasing multiple items.
I am happy to ship multiple items together (when possible) for discounted shipping. To take advantage of shipping discounts, items must be paid WITH ONE PAYMENT TRANSACTION. If you are purchasing multiple items, and ebay's invoice does not automatically calculate the correct discounted shipping charge, then please request a combined shipping invoice with all your purchases listed BEFORE making payment
To keep our shipping costs reasonable and help protect the environment, we recycle shipping products - we reuse boxes and packaging.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:
Please note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
