A very fine antique silver and enamel snuff box.
France ( likely ), circa 1850.
This is a very pretty antique piece, the lid is decorated with hand painted enamel flowers, surrounded by high relief jeweled white enamel and a cobalt blue and gold gilding frame.
The base is all decorated with cobalt blue enamel and gold stars, with a garland gold enamel at the top of the base.
Both lid and base are gold gilded from inside, both stamped ( as shown in photos ).

Diameter at base : 1 1/4 inches ( 3 cm )
Weight : 24 grams.
There is a crack in the enamel at the bottom of the base ( as shown in photos).
Some minor scratches to the bottom of the base due to age.( as shown in photos ).
No chips, cracks or any damage ( except the one that I mentioned ).
