handle of this antique French silver clad pie server features an elegant Neoclassic design. The upper part has a pattern of leaves executed in cutwork highlighted with engraving. The handle bears the French “
Minerve

” hallmark, or “
Minerve

”, indicating at least 80% silver, the guarantee used in Paris since 1838. The upper part and the handle both bear the mark of
Deschamps
Frères
, master silversmiths, located in the rue du Temple in Paris beginning in 1920 and the
rue du
Rocher
