What we have to offer for your viewing pleasure here is this beautiful antique French Christofle silverplate & cut crystal divided tray! The tray is composed of classic lines with a looped handle above it four divided tray areas, a reeded band running along the edge while is rests on its four solid feet. The cut crystal dishes have a classic lattice and button pattern, judging from the quality I would bet they are old unsigned Baccarat, if not you know they were made for Christofle by one of the other fine French cristalleries. It only has two of its four crystal trays and they are chipped and cracked in several areas as we have shown in our photos. As you can see even without the crystal inserts this is an absolutely gorgeous tray! It is hallmarked "24" for the amount of silver used, the second standard full "CC" mark for Charles Christofle used from 1862 to 1935, the pattern number and the "Metal Blanc" mark that was used after 1878 denoting the base metal. The crystal inserts are chipped and cracked as we have shown in out photos as always. The base is in superb overall condition for its age with several spots of plate wear and loss, typical scratches commensurate to its age. It measures 10.75" wide and sits 7.5" high to the top of the handle.
